The External tab allow you to specify where Net8 should resolve net service names for the following external naming method:

• Cell Directory Service (CDS)

• Netware Directory Service (NDS)

• Network Information Service (NIS)

Enter a valid DCE cell name (prefix) in the Cell Name field.

Name Context:

Enter a valid NDS name context in the Name Context field.

Meta Map:

Enter a valid NIS map file name in the Meta Map field.
